Q: Blue Screen Error During System Restore This thread is locked from future replies

Hi, I tried to make a system resotre but during the restore process there was a blue screen that cause the process to stop. It should be noted that I have never encountered a blue screen in my computer before that. Also, I tried to do the restore process again a few times and it happened again, so that I could not do the restore process.

What may be the reasons for it? How can I solve it? Thanks.

A:

Hi,

Perform the steps as mentioned in the following article and check if it helps:

Resolving stop (blue screen) errors in Windows 7

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.

Also refer: You receive various Stop error messages in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 when you try to resume a computer that has a large SATA hard disk

You may use the Hotfix if you are using a large Sata hard disk of 1TB.

Hope this information is helpful.

Did this solve your problem?
