Hi,

Thank you for the quick update on this issue.

I would like to gather some information in context of this issue:

1) What are the particular updates from Windows update that could not be downloaded on the computer?
2) What is the Make and Model of the computer?

From the screen shot of the programs leading to the blue screen error, it seems to nvlddmkm.sys crash on the computer. This issue basically occurs when there is an issue with Nvidia display drivers.

I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Nvidia display drivers on the computer.

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to update the display drivers on the computer.

You can refer to the link to download the latest Nvidia disply driver from the manufacturer website:

I would also suggest you to make a note of the KB numbers for all the updates that have failed downloading and manually download and install the updates on the computer.

You can refer to the link to download the updates from Microsoft download center:

Hope it helps.

Please reply us with the status of this issue.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other Windows related query and we would be

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the Blue Screen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception".

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OS's like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.
If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.
Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps

Please post a copy of your dumpfile as shared file to your Sky Drive with a link here.

For advice on how to configure your system to create dump files please read:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649

The dumpfile will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.

What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your Sky Drive.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key. Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Please upload to your Sky Drive, share with everyone and post a link here. The request for a copy of this file is additional to answering the question about make and model. Failure to deal with both requests will delay finding a solution.

Please say if you need help with using Sky Drive.

And there's a problem with minidump files. Because I can't to put it to Skydrive. I can only to copy to other folder in my system.
There's another problem with detection of GPU. I tried to use Smart Scan to detect drivers for my GPU, but Nvidia Smart Scan says, that there are no GPU (Or GPU is not maked by Nvidia). But I really now, that GPU in my computer is Nvidia Geforce GT 440.

Are you able to copy files from the minidump folder to another folder on your desktop and upload from there? If not try in safemode and then return to normal mode and try to upload from the new folder to your Sky Drive.
