Q: Windows 7 x64 BLUE SCREEN ERROR This thread is locked from future replies

Hello everyone.

I am runing windows 7 x64 and I notice that sometime when i am using internet to download or upload my computer crashes.

I used BlueScreenView search for the problem and i found that hal.dll is the problem and also ntoskrnl.exe.

Here is the pic:http://cid-990e0cdabd415c49.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Bluescrens.bmp

I include also my dump files:http://cid-990e0cdabd415c49.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Minidump.rar

I'd apreciate if you can help me.

Thanks for your time

Answer

A:

Looking at the minidump files with WinDbg of the Debugging Tools for Windows shows that the actual problematic driver is the Rt64win7.sys, which is the Realtek NIC driver.

Since you appear to have an older driver installed  you could try the newer Windows 7 drivers posted at the Realtek site:

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=7&PFid=10&Level=3&Conn=2

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
