Windows 7 UAC issue

WINDOWS 7 and UAC

Is there a way to allow programs to run without triggering UAC

We need to run programs from the Startup Folder and PC's/Machines need to run in an unattended mode

We do not want to turn UAC off if we can avoid it

Perhaps there is a way to define 'TRUSTED PROGRAMS'

Many Thanks for any assistance

Answer

Hello WollyK,

I'm not sure if you are in a domain environment or not. You might want to see if controlling UAC by group policy would be helpful for you and your users.

Check out the technet information about UAC in Windows 7.

If you are in a domain, then this forum is not the best place for your questions.
You would need to post in the technet forums listed below:

Please reply back and let me know if this is helpful.
