I have avast! Free Antivirus 5.0.594 installed into my home PC equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit). However, the Security Center has not recorded an anti-virus product as reported by the Resource and Performance Monitor (RPM).
As revealed by RPM, "the Security Center is unable to identify an active anti-virus application. Either there is an anti-virus product valid or is not recognized".
Puzzled as avast! is one of the anti-virus products on the list recognized by Microsoft.
Is this a problem on Windows 7 Security Center? Will there be any remedial action?
