Windows 7 password reset

I have Windows 7 installed on my PC and have forgotten my administrator password. Unfortunately, I didn't create a password backup disk. I can't run my installation CD/DVD without the password. Can anyone help me?

You can try the following:

1. Try guessing the password from the password hint (if you've enabled).

2. Try locating the password if you've written somewhere.

3. If you've any other admnistrator account, you can use it to reset the password.

4. If you have Windows installation disk, use it to perform System Restore, to restore the PC to an earlier date before setting/changing the password.
