Windows 7 machine can't log on to the domain its in

I've run into an odd problem. I had a running domain with several W7 machines. I recently upgraded the servers from 2008 to 2008 R2. This apparently brought some buried problems in my domain (which is years old and had been through numbers of upgrades from 2000 on up) that eventually led to me creating an entirely new domain. In joining my clients to the new domain, I had no problems except for one machine. It successfully joined the new domain, but when the user tries to log in, this message appears: You cannot log in because the login method you are using is not allowed on this computer.

Why is that? How do I fix it?
Answer
Answer
Doh! Solved the problem: I hadn't added a user account for the new domain on the client machine.
