Set default username. How to?

when i am logging in as an administrator, i want that the previous user's username is shown in the logon box and not 'computersname\Administrator'.
with winXP i changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon DefaultUserName and DefaultDomainName
with win7 it is not working anymore

how 2 do?

Welcome to Microsoft Answers.

To perfrom what 'Ralf' has suggested, follow the below given steps
Follow the steps mentioned below.

1.      Click on Start button and type “Run” in the start search box.

2.      Select “Run” from the menu and type “control userpasswords2” and press Enter.

3.      A dialog box for User Account will pop up.

4.      Check the box “User must enter a Username and password to enter this account”.

5.      Select the desired username and click properties.

6.      In “General” tab you can enter the desired Username, Full name and description of the User and click ok and then apply.

Hi,

Click start>>type control userpasswords2 and hit enter.
You can change the settings from there
