I was recently told to upgrade to Java 10.0 and disable Java because of a secrurity issue. Has this been fixed?

I was recently told to upgrade to Java 10.0 and disable Java because of a secrurity issue. Has this been fixed? I never got an All Clear message from anyone!

 

Update

I got the latest Java 11 update. Oracle says the original problem didn't effect PC's or laptops anyway.

Suggest you uninstall Java unless programs you're using require it.
