How could my son remove parental controls from my admin account?

original title: Parental controls don't work

As the admin, I enabled parental controls on my son's standard user account.  However, he went into parental controls from his standard user account and simply disabled them.  How can that be?

Answer

Hi jkop,

Parental control is designed to be used from administrative account to control standard account.
The only way which I think your son would have been able to disable the parental control from his account is if he has the password for user profile with administrative privileges.

I would suggest changing the password for user profiles which have administrative rights and then check the status.
