Hi Rajbir_singh – Welcome to Microsoft Answers Community.

Trusted directories:
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86)

Protected Directory:
C:\Windows (This is the root for the Windows® Operating System).

Are both (C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86)) considered to be
TRUSTED paths in Windows®. That’s one of the reasons Applications made
for Windows Vista™ or Windows® 7 are UAC compatible and to get trusted
and gain a higher trust level.

Make sure you are the administrator.

The installations that cause the Error 0x00005 access denied error,
is caused by the level=”asInvoker”.

Like this:
============================================
<requestedExecutionLevellevel="asInvoker"uiAccess="false" />
============================================

You need permission to modify or make new folders or add files to
those directories: C:\Program Files, or C:\Program Files (x86) and
C:\Windows\.

I hope you find this information useful. If you need any further assistance,
please feel free to contact me and let me know.

I hope this information was helpful…

Have a nice day…

Best regards,
Fisnik

Sorry I forgot to provide a resolution for the error 0x00005 access
denied error.

The installations that cause theError 0x00005 access denied error,
is caused by the level=”asInvoker”.

AFAIK, UACs Installer Detection Technology (IDT) shall detect the setup
or installer and execute it through a UAC and prompt you for permission
before continuing.

Right-click the setup.exe or installer.msi and select Run as administrator.

I hope you find this information useful. If you need any further assistance,
please feel free to contact me and let me know.

OK, someone at microsoft needs to explain to the technicians that not everyone is a computer geek, and that instructions should be written in step by step fashion so that we can follow along!  What the heck does the following mean, anyway?  It's just a nonsensical way to start a response to a problem.

Quote:

Trusted directories:
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86)

Protected Directory:
C:\Windows (This is the root for the Windows® Operating System).

End Quote
