Windows Media will not save playlist. The rip folder is blank.

Windows Media will not save playlist.  The rip folder is blank and the change button does not work.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows media player. 

Tried delete current data in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\

Tried restoring the libraries to default. 

Tried running sfc /scannow in Command Prompt. 

Went into Regedit and Created a CDRecordPath in Preferences in Media Player stuff.

Any other ideas? Need Help!

I appreciate your efforts on this issue. As you have already tried few troubleshooting steps on this issue, I would suggest you to try these steps and check if it helps.


Method 1:
I would suggest you to run the following troubleshooters.
Open the Windows Media Player Library troubleshooter


You can try using the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter to automatically find and fix some common problems. Refer the link mentioned below.


Method 2:

I would suggest you to check if you face the same issue in new administrator account.

Create a new user account-

If you do not face the same issue in a new user account then you may refer the below link and use the steps provided to fix a corrupted user profile -
