Hi,

·        What is the file format that you are trying to play on the system?

·        Were you able to play these files before on the system?

·        Since when are you facing this issue?

·        Do you remember making any changes to the system?

·        Does this happen with all the files that are present on the system or only when you try to play the files online?

I would suggest you to run the Windows media player troubleshooting on the system and check whether the issue is resolved.

Open the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Windows-Media-Player-Settings-troubleshooter

It might be that there is an issue with the codecs.

·        Have you installed any third party codecs on the system?

If you do not have any codecs installed on the system then, I would suggest you to install codecs on the system and then check whether the issue persists. For further reference check the link mentioned below.

Thank you and Regards.
