Win 7 x64 new install on Zotac H55-ITX Wifi - No audio from Realtek HD Audio back panel LR channels!!

Just did a fresh install of Win 7 x64 Home Premium on the Zotac H55-ITX.

I downloaded the drivers from the Zotac website and installed the latest Realtek drivers rtl_hda_vista3264.The drivers do not work.
I get no audio from the back panel LR Channels at all. I set it to stereo - no audio. Set it to 5.1 or 7.1 and it is the LR RR Channels that is play through the LR Channels

The front panel audio works and detects when you plug in the headphones.

The motherboard is not faulty. I ran Ubuntu 9.10 on the system and it played perfectly through the front speakers.

And yes, I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them again.

Discovered that under Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Speakers there is no LR - Rear panel listed??
The three listed are LR front panel, LR RR Rear Panel and C Sub Rear Panel.

As of 9 Aug 2010. There still is no solution.

Hey Sydney2k,

Did you follow the steps outlisted in "No output from the Rear Panel Audio Out Port" from this linkhttp://www.zotac.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=97&Itemid=100054&lang=en?

If not, please check the steps out.

In addition, try the driver from this link for XP and install the same in XP compatibility mode.

Hey Sydney2k,

The driver appears to be the latest version.

Please check with this driver from Realtek.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Before installing, ensure that you remove all the previous drivers from device manager.

To uninstall:

1.     Go to start and type device manager.

2.     Select Device Manager from the Control Panel list.

3.     Locate the audio device, right-click on it and select properties .

4.     Go to driver tab and click on Uninstall . This removes the driver associated with the device.

After removing the driver, download and install the one given above.

In addition, please get all the updates for your BIOS so that the device is recognized properly.

Note: Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
