Hi terdion,

a. Since when are you facing this issue?
b. Do you remember making any changes on your computer?
c. Does this happen only when you open the Windows Media player or with any other applications?

Step 1:

1. The first thing I would suggest is to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter that would help us diagnose the issue better.

2. Access the below link for more I information on Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Windows-Media-Player-Settings-troubleshooter

Step 2:

Next step would be check the video card.

I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the Display Drivers and check for the issue.

1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌

2.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

3. Look for the Display adapter drivers, right click on it and select
Uninstall.
d. Reboot the computer.

4. On reboot, Windows 7 should re-install the drivers automatically.

Hope this helps. Get back to us with results.
