Question

Q: Media Streaming Issues "DLNA Protocol Error 7522".

Original title: Music Streaming

I just upgraded from XP to 7. I have a PS3, I am able to stream my pics and video to my PS3 but when I try to get into my music library I keep getting " DLNA protocol error 7522". Called Sony and I was told that specific error code has to do with my OS. What can i do to stream my music?!

Answer

A:

an Internet search for

DLNA protocol error 7522

reveals a large number of hits.  it looks like the directory structure that the
PS3 can support barfs at a large number of files and or folders. it also looks
like other third party media servers have the same issue. you could try
rebuilding the music library inside WMP.
