I want to burn Audio CDs and have "Track/name listings" instead of.cda extensions.

* Original Title: cda extension

I've asked this before, but apparently either what I'm asking is impossible to do, no one understands my question, no one has the answer to my question, or the people attempting to answer start putting carts before horses by muddying the waters with 'Troubleshootering,' 'Beware of 3rd party software,' etc.

Perhaps it is my way of asking the question, I don't know.

Here it is again:

1. I burn audio CDs. These are original CDs, not Rips.

2. I burn data CDs. In the sense that I archive writing, planning, designs on CDs/DVDs.

3. I know the difference between burning via WinExplorer and the WinMedia thing.

4. Everything I burn works fine where it's supposed to.,

5. My equipment is fine. Nothing is broken. IT ALL WORKS.

What I want:

I want to burn Audio CDs and have "Track/name listings" INSTEAD of XXX1.cda.

I DO NOT WANT THE .cda extension.

Is this possible?

So please: don't tell me what .cda extensions are or what they do or suggest various troubleshooters on equipment or software that works just fine.

ALL I WANT IS TO GET RID OF THE cda EXTENSIONS.
I WANT "TRACK NAMES" on my music CDs.

Thank you.

I understand that you want to see track names in the directory of
your Audio (Music) CDs the same as you can on a Data (MP3) CD.

Simple answer...

The CDA extension will always be visible in the directory of an Audio
(Music) CD.

Have a look at any of your retail Music CDs...and you will see they
are all that way. There is no way to show track names in the directory
of an Audio (Music) CD.

Have a look at the following article for a little info on CDA files.
