I have recently installed Windows 7 (I had Vista) and I now have no sound with my homemade videos.

The question says it all really.
I used to have Vista and uploaded all my videos and could play them back with sound.  Since I've had Windows 7 I can play them back but they have no sound.
I can hear sound effects and play Facebook videos with sound but my homemade ones are silent.
Help please.
