How can I make WMP 12 show "Contributing Artists" instead of "Album Artist" next to the "playback controls area" while in library mode.

While playing an mp3 file with WMP 12 at the library view, the program displays consequently the "Album Artist", the "Title" and the "Album" fields from the file tag.

How can I force WMP12 to show the "Contributing Artists" instead of the "Album Artist"?

This is very annoying for me because I want to see the Contributing Artist's name while i am listening to a compilation disc!!!

Not the compiler's one or 'various artists'  for every song in the compilation!

Hi Stratos23,

By design, Windows Media Player 12 doesn’t show the "Contributing Artists" instead of the "Album Artist.

However, you can  use "Contributing Artists" in the right side pane and in windows explorer.
