Q: Dual audio video play both sound track on WM player 12. This thread is locked from future replies

Hi, i download a movie in avi format havening dual audio. When play it through Windows Media Player 12 it plays both audio sound. there is no option i found to choose single audio track to play. in VLC media player there is option for it, i can change the sound track whatever i want.


How i can do this in Windows media player 12.

I know this is kind of late but I had the same problem and it was frustrating to say the least. There IS a way to play the alternate audio track in WMP, though it's not as straightforward as VLC. When playing the file, pause> Press Ctrl+M to bring up the classic menu> Click the 'Play' tab on top> Audio & language> Choose track> Press Ctrl+3 to hide menu> Enjoy!. Hope this helped. :)

I would suggest you to contact the site, from where you purchased the movie to download, to see if they have a download that is compatible with Windows Media Player.
