Hi JohnV7,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers!

Does your DVD player supports Blu Ray?

What exactly happens when you tried to play Blue Ray movies?

Do you get any error message?

Which player are you using?

Let me inform you  that Windows Media Player does not play Blue Ray.

I would suggest you to install codec.probably the issue might be with codecs.

Are you able to play other CD/DVD?

If not you I would suggest you to try FiX it.
