Audio issue with my Logitech usb headset 350 using Windows 7.

For the first month or so of use with Windows 7, this headset worked great.  It also worked well with Windows XP.  But, a couple of days ago, I started having issues.  Whenever I try to watch a clip on youtube, the sound is very quiet, and when there are supposed to be voices, they are extremely distorted.

Also, when using Ventrilo, I now have to turn everyone else in the vent server's volume up by about 500% to be able to hear them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi darkness417,

You can try using the Playing Audio troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common problems with your volume settings, your sound card or driver, and your speakers.

Steps:

Open the Play Sound troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio playback. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
