When trying to open a program from Canon, I get Critical error: Invalid class string

I am trying to open ZoomBrowser EX Ver6.7 from Canon.  "Critical Error:  Invalid class string" and cannot access the program.   How do I fix this?  I have Win 7 HOME PREMIUM.

Thank you S.Sengupta!  The MS program has been changed: 

Important The Windows Installer Cleanup utility (MSICUU2.exe) that was previously referred to in this article was discontinued. Although the Windows Installer Cleanup utility resolved some installation problems, it sometimes damaged other components that were installed on the computer. Because of this, the tool was removed from the Microsoft Download Center. The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter is a replacement for that utility.

But worked perfectly!  SO, thank you again for directing me so expeditiously!
