Whats the cause of my recent BSoD?
Never got one of thoes blue screens of death before. Anyways, I dont download random stuff on my computer, and like to keep a pretty clean harddrive and what not. I have attached the error dump file. So what happened? How can I prevent this from happening in the future?
Thank you for your help.
The attached DMP file is of the WDF_VIOLATION (10D) bug check.
This indicates that Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) detected that Windows found an error in a framework-based driver.

Pretty simple what's happening here, and that's the MotioninJoy simulate Xbox 360 controller (virtual Xinput device) -- MijXfilt.sys -- is causing problems. We can also confirm this by checking the process at the time of the crash - PROCESS_NAME: DS3_Tool.exe
Uninstall DS3 Tool/MotionJoy ASAP and stick to the official Xbox drivers. I see this happen quite a lot.
