Hi,

·        What do you mean by Virtual memory won’t stay?

·        How are you trying to set the Page file size?

Follow the steps mentioned below to increase the page file size.

Method 1:

a.       Click on Start menu and click on control Panel.

b.      Select System in control panel.

c.       In the left pane, click Advanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

d.      On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.

e.      Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.

f.        Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.

g.       Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.

h.      Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click OK.

NoteIncreases in size usually don't require a restart for the changes to take effect, but if you decrease the size, you'll need to restart your computer. We recommend that you don't disable or delete the paging file.

Now reboot the system and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you are not able to increase the page file size by using method 1 check method 2.

Method 2:

a.       Click on Start menu and type in cmd in the start search box.

b.      Right click on cmd and click ‘run as administrator’.

c.       Once the cmd prompt starts type in the following command.

sc config afs start= disabled

Note: The syntax of the command is very particular - there is no space before the =, but there is one after it

Now restart the system and check.
