Problem with readyboost cache space used on flash drive

i installed a 16gb usb flash drive and am using readyboost.. my problem is that with readyboost in operation, there is only 10.9gb free on the 16gb flash drive. should readyboost be using up all that space on the flash drive?

Hi

Readyboost will use enough space on the flash drive to supplement the memory on the system.

You should monitor the usage by readyboost on the flash drive and then set the maximum amount of space it is allowed to use slightly higher than that amount of space.
