On Windows 7, computer goes to LOG OFF screen after about 2 minutes, no matter what program is running. Desktop shows for 2 minutes, the goes to LOG OFF

I updated Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows 7.  From the beginning the screen would go from plain old DESKTOP to the Log Off screen  after 1 or 2 minutes.  Computer does not shut down; nor do I Have to reboot, BUT I have to hit the LOG ON button.  Annoying.

  2. Click on the ‘Change Plan Settings’
  3. In the ‘Put the computer to sleep’ option, choose ‘Never’.
  4. Then click on the ‘Save Changes’.
