Microsoft(C) Register Server has stopped working

I have been having this pop up after i switch on my laptop.

I can't change the DEP attributes on my 64-bit.

Hi,

Have you made any recent changes to the computer?

Try the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to try the following step and check if it helps.

a. Go to Start, Control Panel and click on System.
b. Now click on the Advanced tab and under Performance, click on Settings.
c. Click on Data Execution Prevention and select the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select: radio button.
d. Now click the Add button and browse to C:\Windows\SysWoW64 and choose the regsvr32.exe file.
e. When you get the message stating it could make your computer become unprotected and vulnerable to attacks, just click OK to continue.
f. Click OK and then click OK again to exit

Note: Once the troubleshooting is done, make sure that you try the step 7 in the article to reset the computer as usual.
