I keep getting messages from Action center that McAfee Anit-virus, Anti-spyware & Firewall are turned off as well as Windows Firewall

This started after a message popped up about Adobe Reader and I deleted it.  I have tried to turn of applications without success.

Welcome to Microsoft Community forums and thank you for posting the question. As per the description, you are getting messages from Action Center that McAfee and Windows Firewall is turned off.

Please answer few questions to narrow down the issue.

1. Do you remember making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
2. Do you have more than one secuirty software installed?

Update the anti virus definitions and check the status

Method 1: I would suggest you to disable and enable the Security Center
service in Windows 7:
a. Click on Start button, type services.msc and pressEnter.
b. In the list of Services, Right click on Security Center, clickingProperties
and select Disabled.
c. Reboot your Computer.
d. Again, follow the step a and b, and select Automatic (Delayed Start)
e. Start the Service.

Method 2: You may uninstall and reinstall the secuirty software and check.

Method 3:

Perform System Restore to an earlier point before installing this application.
System Restore can return your system files to a point in time before you noticed a problem, without affecting documents, photos, or other personal files. If System Restore doesn't fix the problem, you can undo the restore operation and choose another restore point.
