Error Exception EOLeSysError In module Skype.exe 00125175, The RPC server is unavailable

Original Title; RPC

On Starting up my laptop I am getting the following message:

" Exception EOLeSysError In module Skype.exe 00125175.

The RPC server is unavailable."

The laptop will eventually restart on it's own after possibly 5/6 attempts and maybe 2 hours later, can anyone please give me any idea of what is causing this? Is it Skype, if so should I remove if or what. or is it caused by something else.

Hello Brian,

Thank you for posting query on Microsoft Community.

  1. What were recent changes made on the computer prior to issue?
  2. Does the laptop automatically restart?

If the laptop restarts automatically on its own

You can try following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1: Check if issue persist in safe mode, if Computer works fine in safe mode then place computer in clean boot state:

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps from section “How to reset the computer to start as usual after clean boot troubleshooting” to reset the computer to start as usual.

b. In the Services window, find Remote Procedure Call and right click on it to select Properties.
