Computer Management

When I attempt to open Computer Management(compmgmt.msc). I get the following message. "MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\COMPMGMT.MSC.
This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file.

The files are in the \windows\system32 directory and I am logged on with admin. rights.

This is the only administrativetool that seems not to work, all others are fine. Any help would be appreciated. If you need more info please let me know.

Thank you in advance......Lou
