Balanced power plan option missing from power options

Original title: One of the Power options just disappeared

when i try to change of power plan for my laptop, it only shows 2 power plans: power saver and high performance. i would like to know what causes the power plan "balanced" disappeared and what can i do to fix it

Hi Rulo12,

1. Are you using a laptop or desktop computer?
2. Were you able to see the “Balanced power plan option” earlier or from when are you facing this issue?
3. Are you able to see the “Balanced power plan option”, when you click on create a power plan?

As a word around try to reset and restore the power plans to default
 
a. Click Start, type cmd in the Start search boxand hit ENTER.
b. In the command prompt, type powercfg –restoredefaultschemes and hit Enter.
c. Exit command prompt.

Note: This would reset the power plan settings to default. Any customized power plans are would be removed.
