Display language... How to change?

Hi there...
I buy a desktop and it suposed to be installed with Windows 7 Home Premium with swedish language....
but it's not...

I talked to the reseller and they will send me a new DVD with Windows 7 in swedish... so fare so good but

Do I really have to reinstall the whole computer.....
Is there not a way to just change the display language........????
I have already started to use the computer and it will take 14 days until I get my dvd

Isn't there any work around to just upgrade Windows 7 or just change language in an easy way....
It doesn't matter if the operating system is in english but I need the display's to show text in swedish....

Please help

Best regards from

Hi Klasbolin,

You need to have Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise to change the display language.

The Display language section will only be visible if you have already installed an LIP or if your edition of Windows supports an MUI. MUIs are only available in Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise.

You have to reinstall it with windows 7 (Swedish language) or you have to do any time upgrade to windows 7 ultimate. For this you need to buy windows 7 ultimate upgrade disc/download it from Microsoft store. You can change the display language in windows 7 ultimate.

Windows 7 language packs are available for computers that are running Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise
