Windows 7 not seeing network PCs and USB drive on router
I have an Asus RT-N56U router to which you can attach a USB drive for sharing documents. I have been trying to access this USB drive from my Windows 7 64 bit PC but with no luck at all. The Windows 7 PC also does not recognise any other PCs on the network
(for example a Windows XP PC), though I can access the Windows 7 PC from the XP machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

if i try to connect directly (eg by typng \\192.168.1.1 in a folder) I get the error Windows cannot access \\192.168.1.1 and it tells me to click diagnoise to identify network problems, but when I click diagnose it never finds anything. If I click show
details in the error box, I get error code 0x800704cf The network location cannot be reached.
I have tried method 2, but no luck
