Win 7 remote desktop to Win 98 SE

I have 4 computers connected to my router. I can remote desktop to the other Win 7 prof desktop & the XP laptop but not the Win 98 SE desktop. I can easily access shared folders on the Win 98 machine as it does show in my Network folder. I can also copy to and from this folder.

I have a Win 95 Program that only runs on the Win 98 SE machine. I did try to install the program into the xp emulator.

When I try to connect, I get the standard 'cant connect message' and all 3 reasons stated are false as I can open shared folders by type \\(compter name) in start.

Hi Theoleo,

I would suggest you to download the remote desktop connection software on the Windows 98 client computer.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tools/RDCLIENTDL.mspx

Then try and see if the Windows 7 can Remote Desktop to the Windows 98 client.
