problem with windows 7 starter Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address and IPv4 Address

i cannot change or disable Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address shown in ipconfig -all

i cannot connect to the network any ip iput ditect it as duplicate.

can someone help?

Hi

If a computer is only connected to a switch, the Auto configuration is Not valid.

Auto configuration applies when a computer is connected to a server that can provide the configuration.

Wireless Routers have a DHCP server that provides a valid IP.

Regular switch is a transparent network device that cannot provide any configuration.

When there is No DHCP Server, the computer needs to be configured with a static IP.

Follow the path as describe up to step 5 (Do not pay attention to the specific numbers, your number should be according to your network scheme).

May be you would like to provide an explanation about what it is you are trying to achieve.
