Problem with sharing printer between Windows 7 & and Windows Xp

I have a HP 1150 laser printer that is connected to my Windows 7 (Home Premium 64bit) computer by USB. I want to share it with another pc running Xp Pro (SP3), but can't find a suitable printer driver. I have read the thread about sharing printers, and have carried out most of the steps.

My problem is that although I can see the printer from the xp machine, it requires a suitable driver. I had previously installed the HP drivers and the printer works fine by direct USB connection to the XP machine, but it appears I need an appropriate driver installed on the W7 machine as well - and I can't seem to find one that works.

 

Any ideas what to do ?

Do you get any particular error message?

You will have to download the right drivers from the HP Support website for your printer and check if that helps.

If you have HP LaserJet 1150 Printer then download the drivers for the right version of Windows installed on the computer from the following link:
