You will need to Remote Desktop, first you will need to configure it on your computer at work and home. You might need to request permission from your IT Administrator to configure remote access to your machine.

VPN or Remote Desktop? Both are quite different although you can run Remote Desktop through a VPN tunnel. I think you need to contact the company network administrators for help which depends on what your connecting to, the purpose (ie. Remote Desktop access or shared file/folder/program access) and whether or not your authorized for remote access. Many companines use third-party VPN software for access to their network.
