Error 1068 - Windows could not start the Peer Networking Grouping service

I've read a post on the forums about someone else who had the same problem, but the solution provided there - deleting a file - wouldn't work for me because the folder containing that file does not exist on my computer.

I need to edit my Home Group, but can't access it because Peer Networking Grouping will not start. The error says: The dependency service or group failed to start...which doesn't give me a whole lot of information to help troubleshoot.
