Cannot connect to internet from the other user account on Windows 7

Hello Hoosiergirl,

1.     What is the exact error message you get when you try to access Internet from your daughters account?

2.     What is the type of user account you have on your daughters profile(Standard or Administrator)?

3.     Were you ever able to connect to Internet from the other user account?

If this is a Standard User account, I suggest that you check if there are parental controls set to restrict the user from accessing Internet. You can refer the below article for more information on this:

I also suggest that you create a new user profile and check if you are able to browse from the new user account.

Note: To create a new profile, you must first create a new user account. When the account is created, a profile will also be created.

a.     Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety and then clicking User Accounts.

b.      Click Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

c.      Click Create a new account.

d.     Type the name you want to give the user account, click an account type, and then click Create Account.

Note: Do not give the existing user name for the new user account.
