Question

Q: Wireless antenna disabled This thread is locked from future replies

I have a new computer with licenced windows 7. WiFi was working fine until last night when Windows automatic updates installed. This morning I cannot use WiFi - it says the wireless antenna has been disabled. It also did something to my licensed Kaspersky Internet Virus protection, but I got that recovered.  I have tried system restore etc and a few other suggested fixes but nothing works. How does one enable the wireless antenna? This is really a problem coz I'm working on a short term assignment in Vietnam and am losing a lot of time trying to fix this. Thankyou Microsoft for really making life difficult!!!

Try pressing Fn+F5. One of the reviewers' complaints about some of the
new IdeaPads is the placement of the Fn key where it can be
inadvertently pressed.
