Question

Q: Wireless Keyboard 3000 V2 not connecting to receiver.

I have three separate sets of the microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 v2 that each came with a wireless mouse 5000 at my job site that we use when we having training classes. the problem is that none of the keyboards are being recognized at all. i have read microsofts general help page i cant remember how many times and its useless because none of the devices have a connect button supposedly they are all individually keyed to the set. the mouse works just fine so i know that the receiver is working fine its just the keyboard wont connect. i have also taken out the batteries out of the keyboards and let them sit over night and still they will not connect. i have read the manual and uninstalled the drivers and intellitype/ point and still nothing. please help me thank you.  i am running windows 7 32 bit.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

1. nothing happens thats the problem and its not just one keyboard its 3 sets of keyboards and mice. the mice work just fine. i have also pulled the batteries as i stated in the initial post.

2. yes i have the sets were originally used for the training room we set up on my job site but since there is no need to have the towers set up 24/7 we break down the class when the training is done. they were supposed to be used for this training but no matter what usb port on any tower the keyboards were connected to they still would not work. even tho just the week before they worked fine.

3. the computer i am using currently, no there have been no changes except for me deleting and re-installing the drivers for the keyboard.

as far as your methods to help with the issue not one of them helps with the particular issue i am having. the only one that might help is calling microsoft directly.
