Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary
technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a
Microsoft Agent or
Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an
official
Microsoft global customer service number.
I have upgraded my PC up to 4GB RAM but windows 7 only recignize 3GB RAM(BIOS can also recognize 3GB). Do i need update BIOS, my model : Sony VAIO SZ340P.
Don't worry about it. A 32-bit OS can only work with 3gb anyway.
I recently upgraded the BIOS on my machine (not a Sony) and BIOS memory report fell from 4gb to 2gb, and I am running a 64-bit OS so want the use of the other 2gb. Needless to say, I rolled it back. BIOS upgrades can sometimes do more harm than good..
