Bluetooth disappeared (Windows 11)
Update: Resolved issue by disconnecting PC from power (unplugging from wall) for 10 minutes and then restarting. Baffling.Bluetooth services disappeared several weeks ago and I've been trying to get it back. Here's what I've found so far:- Bluetooth troubleshooter couldn't solve it- Restarting Bluetooth Services - I have done this, and have set all to start automatically however BluetoothUserService_5aacd will not allow me to move it from Manual to Automatic, I get a "The parameter is incorrect" error- I uninstalled and reinstalled the BT drivers, which did not fix the issue- I have uninstalle

Windows Setup Captive Portal Not working
Our company laptops are InTune managed, including passing the Staff WiFi credentials. However, when setting up the laptop we don't want unmanaged devices connecting to the Staff network. Therefore, they must use the Guest network. As the guest network has a captive portal, it seems Windows Setup is unable to render a very basic portal page. I'm assuming the web renderer used at this part of setup is somewhat limited and cannot render new[ish] web pages. I'm assuming this is a limitation on Windows, but is there anything I can do to address this?BTW, I would have uploaded a screenshot, but it s

How to Switch back to classic MSN page?
My MSN webpage has been automatically changed on my laptop to the new format which doesn't group stories. There is a link at the top to "return to classic MSN" but when I click it, it doesn't change anything. Is there another way to switch it back to the old format which is much more user friendly for larger devices?

File Explorer issue and re installing windows 11
Hi, my file explorer isn't working. I can't open anything. I've tried to do a windows update but it's saying I need to get rid of files to make more space. USB drive won't show in File Explore
I (finally) have a new Windows 11 laptop. I need a 32 GB USB to see if it has anything on it. It shows up in File Explorer as greyed out; When I try to open it, I'm told to insert a disc. The USB is inserted, so why can't I see what's on it? I also have 3 new 32 GB USBs I can't get into, even to format them. What's going on?

I get this BSOD, but it only occurs very sporadically...it can take weeks of being online to occur.Since I've built this PC, I had been investigating it and I had sent back almost every component barring the video card. All my drivers are up to date as far as I know.The PC recently bluescreened, and came up in "test Mode" I'm going to disable this. can I speak to a support person
on my older Lenovo windows computer I have three drives, one of which is an m-2, that has been my boot drive forever, after cleaning the computer yesterday the computer is not booting to the m-2, it is booting to a different drive that happens to have a windows 11 installation on it, checked the bios, the m-2 is first in the boot order, windows explorer see the m-2 drive. Can you help me?

How to change startup profile in windows on a MS Surface pro that is .automatically l;oading an old corporate profile
I have just left a company which provided Office 365 licences on my MS surface pro laptop. I have purchased my own 365 licence and loaded all the apps on the laptop. It appears that when I start up the laptop the old unlicenscend company profile loads, so the desktop and the settings relate to this profile. All apps running like outlook, edge and copilot open in the new profile but I cant find how to load the new profile at start up. Can anyone help?

Switched to Defender after years of using another security tool.Seems to be working fine, but now I want to switch to using New Outlook.And I get:So, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen blocks outlook.office.com.I understand that this is the 'reputation-based protection' kicking in.Why does Microsoft think that their own reputation is so bad that they need to protect me from themselves?Fortunately Outlook Classic still works.Is this just me or do other people also have this issue?
