Problems with KIngston Card Reader

My Kingston FCR-HS2191/1 Card Reader appears as an "unspecified device in the control panel. Troubleshooter suggests there is a missing driver but it will not install. The device is useless on my Win 7 Ultimate machine. Frustrated. The reader does work on my win 7 laptop! What gives?

I did and that seems to be the source of my problem. The device showed up as a drive before installing the utility. Should have left well enough alone. Thanks for your input.
