New printer I cannot install the MP Printer Driver

Hello,

Please help me for I spent all day trying thousand things that didn't work, I have a windows 7  64 bit and I got a Canon MX395. Each time I try to install the driver it says failure, I tried from the site it says cannot install drivers. I kept updating my windows until it gave me an error updating, I tired many things it didn't work, I tried an older Canon printer MG CD that I had, well it did install but I cant find the printer on the list, when I try to find it or search for it even when connected by cable to it, it is not there, I am very confused and tired and I need to use it. Please can you help me? I basically do not have any printer drive! And I can't do anything thank you!

You may also try to download and install the printer driver manually from printer manufacturer website.

Method 4:

If the issue is still not resolved I would suggest you to remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, in the start search typesysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. Click the Hardware tab.
  3. Click the Device Manager button.
  4. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  5. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
  6. Restart the computer so that windows install the USB controller drivers.
  7. Plug in your USB, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.
