Question

Q: MICROSOFT POWERPOINT VIEWER

I HAVE WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL.  I DOWNLOADED THE POWERPOINT VIEWER FOR ALL THE PP

PRESENTATIONS I HAVE.

HOWEVER WHEN I DOUBLE CLICK ON A PP, IT ASKS ME WHAT PROGRAM TO OPEN IT WITH AND WHEN I BROWSE, IT DOES NOT SHOW THE POWERPOINT VIEWER.

WHAT DO I DO TO CORRECT THIS SO ALL POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS AUTOMATICALLY OPEN WITH THE PP VIEWER..?

Answer

A:

Is the PowerPoint Viewer really installed? If so then it must be included in the list you see in the Control Panel / Programs and Features.

What extension do your PowerPoint files have? Is it .ppsx, .pptx, .pps, .ppt or is it something else?

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

It is not sufficient to download the viewer. You must also install it.

BTW - writing whole messages in upper case is referred to as "Shouting" in forums. Making them bold as well would be "screaming".
