Q: Latest Abit uGuru drivers v.3.109 is not compatible with windows 7. Any solution? This thread is locked from future replies

I have issue with a latest Abit uGuru Utility v.3.109 running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit, bug reported:
when start overclocking CPU in Windows using a latest Abit Uguru Utility (using turbo mode) to 3,6 Ghz, started
game Resident Evil 5, and saw that screen delayed to sound, FPS normal avr. 45 FPS Benchmark Area 1. I
haven't this issue under Vista SP2, XP SP3. Any solution?

Please, Windows 7 developers., create patch for Windows 7 that Abit uGuru Utility work stable. Maybe I have same issue in future games.

My PC:
Intel Pentium 4 (640) 3200MHz
Abit i945P (AL8-V)
2 Gb DDR2 533Mhz Dual Channel (A-DATA 2 x 512Mb + Apacer AM1 1 Gb)
ATI/AMD Radeon HD 4850 512Mb GDDR3 256bit (Driver version Catalyst 9.10)
LiteOn DVD+/-RW
PSU Chieftec 550W 12cm Fan PFC

Thank you for support!

Well it would be up to Abit to rewrite their own software, not Microsoft.  Does the PC run OK if you do NOT overclock?

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
