Q: Wireless Mouse This thread is locked from future replies

I am having trouble with my recently purchased 'TARGUS' wireless mouse. It was fine till now, but all of a sudden I heard a beep from my laptop (similar one which comes when you plug/unplug something to a USB drive) and it just doesn't work anymore! no lights on the USB receiver which comes along with the mouse anymore!

I remember the following things:

1. I had installed updates from Windows yesterday (but after that as well for couple of hours today it was fine)

2. I got an alert for battery level and soon after I plugged in the power source I got the beep and mouse went dead in some moments.

These may be irrelevant, but could anyone please help?

Of course make sure the batteries are fresh and alive. Rodents do go bad.

Try a System Restore back to when the mouse was working.

Hope this helps.
