Answer

Hi,

  1. What exactly happens when you use D-LINK DSL-210 USB ADSL Modem?
  2. Do you get any error messages?
  3. Are you able to browse through internet?

We don’t have any information about its compatibility with windows 7. I’d suggest you to contact its manufacture and check its compatibility with windows 7. If it’s not compatible then you may have to buy a new one which is compatible with windows 7.

Method 1:

You may also try installing the drivers for it in compatibility mode and check if this help. You may try finding the drivers for it in windows update or contact manufacture.

To update drivers using Windows Update, follow these steps:

a)     Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

b)     In the left pane, click Check for updates.

c)     If there are any available updates, click the links to see more information about each update. Windows Update tells you if an update is important, recommended, or optional. Each type of update might include drivers.

d)     On the Select the updates you want to install page, look for updates for your hardware devices, select the check box for each driver that you want to install, and then click OK.

e)     There might not be any available driver updates.

f)      On the Windows Update page, click Install updates If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation..
Windows Update will tell you if the updates were successfully installed.
